Courthouse Cafe: Your Destination for Breakfast & Brunch in Susanville

Went here while on business in Susanville and was pleasantly surprised. Food and service was excellent! Ordered to go and a member of our team has celiac. The staff was very accommodating and offered to make their French fries without flour to make sure they were gluten free. So appreciated when it can be hard to find good gluten free options, especially in a small town. Portions and pricing were great and would recommend!

Hidden gem for Gluten free people lots of great options even GF pancakes. Fast & friendly service, clean, and delicious. Also big servings be aware.

Stopped in here after dropping off our granddaughter since we were late eating lunch. It's just a small-town diner but with friendly servers. I've heard it can be busy, but we got served on a Sunday around 1:00 without any wait. The food was good and served hot within the expected time. They have a big variety on their menu.

Awesome breakfast and reasonable . I ordered eggs and hash browns with English muffin and ate every morsel! Senior menu is super reasonable and the server was friendly and thorough. Coffee was good and hot ....would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

First things first...make sure you ask to be seated in Kim's section. She's super friendly , always smiling , and prompt with your order. We did not have Kim today and it's kind of sad how different the service was. Now let's talk food ..we were in town for a week and ate here a few times. Some days for breakfast and others for lunch. Salads, burritos, burger, omelet all good. Enchiladas w/chile verde decent but a little salty. Eggs Benedict was cooked properly just a teeny bit bland on the sauce and it came with biscuits that were not toasted vs the traditional English muffins. All in all the food was good and consistent but the service (Kim) is what makes it even better.
